This study is based on the technical drawing I did of Mary Lee to prepare for the life-sized mural I painted of her (16 feet long). The grid on the 12x36 piece was scaled up to fit the 16 foot canvas and provide reference for the sketch. Mary Lee's markings are accurate- stills from the video of her swimming under the ship that tagged her were used for reference.
